About Founder
I’m Asmita, the founder and creative behind Unklay, a small handmade home-decor brand based in India. I’m an artist and I love creating minimal, aesthetically pleasing pieces by hand. Unklay started from my experimentation with clay and other materials, eventually becoming a brand focused on handmade white-cement trinket trays and decorative objects.
My aesthetic is minimal, clean, artistic and slightly playful. I want Unklay to feel like a modern Indian lifestyle brand rather than a generic craft store. I’m currently building the website myself and want it to be a simple, professional, fully functional ecommerce store where customers can discover the products, add them to their cart and complete their purchase easily.
