About the Founder

Hi, I’m Asmita — the founder and creative behind Unklay. 🤍

I’m an artist, maker and the person behind every little detail at Unklay. What started as an experiment with clay and different materials slowly turned into something much more meaningful — a handmade home-decor brand built around white cement, creativity and thoughtful design. 

I’ve always loved creating things with my hands, especially pieces that feel minimal, tactile, artistic and a little playful. When clay wasn’t easily available, I began experimenting with white cement — and that unexpected material became the foundation of Unklay.

Today, I handcraft small-batch trays and everyday objects designed to bring a little beauty and intention into ordinary spaces.

Unklay is more than just a brand to me. It’s my little studio, my experiments, my creativity — turned into objects that can become a part of your home.

Every piece is made slowly, thoughtfully and in small batches, because I believe the tiny imperfections of handmade objects are what make them special.
